Sawicki, Anthony Maryan
Physician. Office: 263 Ninth Street, Brooklyn, N. Y. Born in Schenectady, N. Y., March 10, 1891. Son of Anthony Sawicki and Maryanna Bykowicz. Attended LaSalle Institute. Studied at University of Michigan. Medical studies completed at Jefferson College, from which he received M.D. degree in 1916. Married Felicia Gorny, April 29, 1917. During World War I served in the U.S. Navy as Lieutenant (junior grade)and after the armistice received honorable discharge from active duty. Member of: Pan-American Medical Ass'n, Medical Society of Kings County, South Brooklyn Medical Society, Polish American Medical and Dental Ass'n (past president). On the medical staff of following hospitals: Midwood Hospital (director), Samaritan Hospital and Bay Ridge Hospital (all of Brooklyn). Clubs: Huntington Crescent Club, Huntington, L. I., Montauk Club and American Legion, Frank J. Dombrowski Post No. 965 of Brooklyn. Residence: 316 Garfield Place, Brooklyn, N. Y.
