Schwaba, John H.
Public official. Born in Stevens Point, Wis. June 24, 1883. Settled in Chicago, Ill., with his parents at the age of seven. His parents died when he was a young lad. The orphan was placed in an orphanage. He worked as a secretary for Father Vincent Barzynski, C.R., and attended Northwestern University in Chicago. Ill., studying in the College of Pharmacy. In 1907 he opened his own drug store. Member of several Polish organizations, clubs and societies. Married Miss Cecilia Krolik, November 28, 1906. Member of St. Hyacinth's parish. At present engaged in the Tax Office of Cook County. Resides in Chicago, Ill.
