Scieszka, Rev. Ferdinand
Clergyman. Born in Poland, December 13, 1881. Ordained on July 1, 1905; first assignment as curate at St. Joseph's Church, Chicago. Ill. After serving as assistant pastor in two other churches in Chicago, appointed in 1910 first pastor of SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, Lemont, Ill. In 1912 became pastor of St. Valencius Church. In 1915 organized St. Ladislaus Church of which he remained as pastor for only two years. In 1922 resigned as pastor of St. Valencius Church and for the next ten years was assistant pastor at St. Adalbert's Church. Since 1932 assistant pastor of St. John of God Church, Chicago, Ill.
