84, was born in Chicago and married his wife of 41 years in his hometown. Sikowski was a mechanical engineer for Western Electric for 41 years. He was a World War II Army veteran of the 8th Armored Division and participated in The Battle of the Bulge. He was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the American Legion Skwiat Post #451.
