Skorupa, Thomas
Horticulturist. Born Feb. 27, 1879 in Leki Dolne, Poland; son of Joseph and Catherine (Twardowski) Skorupa. Education: National School of Horticulture, Tarnow, Poland, March 31, 1900. Engaged at Gumniska, Vienna, Austria; Instructor at "Krajowa Szkola Ogrodnicza" (National School of Horticulture) Tarnow, Poland. In 1905 came to U.S. Division Park foreman in Washington, D.C. as a landscape architect. Superintendent of North-West Park District, including Mozart Park, Kosciuszko Park, Kelvyn. Kellog Tract. Resides in Chicago, Ill.
