Funeral director. Civic leader. Born in Poland, Nov. 16, 1890. Came to America, May 10, 1896. Married, has two children. Served in France during the I World War. Active in veteran, patriotic, fraternal and civic organizations. Member of Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association, Director of the Atlas Savings and Loan Association of Brooklyn, former vice president of the Polish National Alliance of Brooklyn. Member of Knights of Columbus, Elks, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Polish Legion of American Veterans, SS. Peter and Paul Society, St. Francis Catholic Club, Executive member of the Polish American Citizens Club of Greenpoint, Stanislaus Malachowski Group of P.N.A., honorary member Polish Army Veterans. In 1938 elected assemblyman of 15th assembly district of Brooklyn, to the State Legislature of New York. Re-elected in 1940 and 1942. Since 1941 president of the Polish National Alliance of Brooklyn, a fraternal organization. Residence: 1044 Manhattan Ave., Brooklyn, N. Y.
