Smulska, Jadwiga
Singer. Daughter of Ignace Mikitynski and Frances Mikitynska; educated at St. Stanislaus parochial school, Chicago, Ill. Graduated from the Chicago Musical College with three medals; studied under Schiller and Jean de Reszke; concertized in various cities. Made her debut at Orchestra Hall, 1907, Chicago, Ill. From 1894 to 1899 she was a teacher at the Kosciuszko School, Chicago, Ill. Resides now in California.From: "Who's Who in Polish America" by Rev.
