Civic leader. Born October 1,1895 in Chicago, Ill. Son of John and Catherine Sobota. Graduate of Alliance College, Cambridge Springs, Pa. Studied law at Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Ind. Elected alderman of Chicago in 1939. Again elected as alderman in 1943. Veteran of U.S. Army. Served three terms as director of Polish National Alliance of America.
