Stachowicz, Adam
Civic leader. Born in 1855 in Poland. Came to Chicago, Ill, in 1871. Educated at St. Stanislaus Kostka parochial school, Chicago, Ill. Later went to Hammond, Ind. Organized St. Andrew's Society and St. Andrew's parish, Hammond, Ind. Former director of Polish Roman Catholic Union of America; deceased.
