Stanislaus, Brother (Kurowski, Michal), C.S.C.
Teacher, organist, stage director. Born in Sadkowa, Poland, Sept. 11, 1852; came to U.S. and settled in South Bend, Ind.; on Nov. 5,1881 entered novitiate of Congregation of Holy Cross and took his vows Aug. 15, 1883; was a teacher at St. Hedwig's parochial school, Chicago, Ill. Organist and stage director at Holy Trinity parish, Chicago, Wrote several stageplays; noted for his drama "Eustachiusz" (Eustace). Died Jan. 12, 1913 in Chicago, Ill.
