Clergyman. Born Oct. 6, 1853 in Silesia, Poland. Elementary schools, 1859 1864. Secondary education in Wschow and Gliwice (Gliwitz), Silesia, 1864 1874. Graduated from the University in Leipzig, and Breslau, Germany from 1874-1884. In 1887 conductor of Singing Societies Association in Posen, Poland. Went to Krakow, to study theology, 1890-1893. In 1893 studied at the university in Breslau, department of theology. In 1894 came to U.S. to St. Mary's Theological Seminary in Cincinnati, 0. Ordained here June 19, 1894. Organized Sacred Heart of Jesus parish, Marinette, Wis., in 1894. and was pastor there from July 7, 1894 to September 20, 1894. From Sept. 20, 1894 to Nov. 24, 1895 pastor of St. Hyacinth's parish, Antigo, Wis. From Nov. 24, 1895 to Feb. 1, 1896 pastor of Holy Trinity parish, Pine Grove, Wis. From Feb. 1, 1896 to 1897 pastor of St. John Baptist parish, Princeton, Wis. From 1897 to 1898 pastor of St. Peter's parish, Stevens Point, Wis. From Sept. 25, 1898 to March 1, 1900 pastor of St. Mary's parish, Fancher, Wis. From March 1, 1900 to May, 1900 pastor of St. Josaphat parish, Oshkosh, Wis. From 1900 until his death, stationed in Milwaukee, and Portage, Wis., where he died in 1910.
