Stenczynski, Marian Bogdan
Civic leader. Born in Poland on March 24, 1866. Joined the Polish National Alliance in 1896 and was elected president five times in 1903, 1905, 1907, 1909 and 1911. Instrumental in calling a convention of Polish immigrants in Washington, D.C., in 1910, where two monuments were dedicated, one to General Casimir Pulaski and another to General Thaddeus Kosciuszko. Cambridge Springs, Pa., where he served until his death in 1939.
