Manufacturer. Organized in 1912 an enterprise manufacturing cosmetics, toilet articles and various home products, known as The Sweet Manufacturing Company, which now (1943) employs several hundred persons. He started in the manufacturing business on a small scale and through his personal efforts the firm expanded tremendously.
