Social worker. The first Polish woman in U.S. to be decorated by Pope Pius XI in 1934 with the cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice, for her splendid social work. Founder of the Polish League of Social Activities in U.S.; in 1937, elected president of said organization at a Pittsburgh Convention. Editor of Polish Daily "Rekord Codzienny" in Detroit, Mich. for about 20 years. In 1939, nominated by Governor Murphy, commissioner of the jury of the recording court in Detroit, the only Polish woman in U.S. in such office. Address: 3314 Junction Ave., Detroit, Mich.
