Swientek, Ignatius
Teacher. Born in Chicago, Ill., where he received his elementary and secondary education. Graduated from De Paul University with a Bachelor of Philosophy degree in 1941. Teacher in Central Y.M.C.A. High School. A former national vice-president of the Polish Students and Alumni Association of America, granted in 1935 a scholarship to study in Poland, and spent several months at the universities in Warsaw and Cracow. Member of Pi Alpha Chi, Polish National Alliance of U.S. of North America, Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, Knights of Columbus. and the St. Bonaventure Alumni Association. Residence: 4112 So. Richmond St., Chicago, Ill.
