Swinko, Rev. Bartholomeus
Born in Lacko, Poland. Secondary education in Nowy Sacz, theology in Cracow; ordained in 1886. In 1888 came to Buffalo, N.Y., and was appointed pastor and organizer of St. Casimir's parish at Elmira, N.Y. In 1890 nominated organizer of a new parish in Albion, N.Y.; organized a new St. Hedwig's parish in 1893, also in Dunkirk, N.Y. In 1896 pastor of St. Hyacinth parish in Dunkirk, N.Y. Died on May 24, 1915 in Buffalo, N.Y.
