Szajnert, Julian
Civic leader. In 1871 organized Mutual Aid Society, and became its financial secretary. In 1880 elected first secretary general of a new organization, The Polish National Alliance in Philadelphia. Together with Andrzejkowicz signed a proclamation for organization of P.N.A. At the first convention in 1880 he was elected first general secretary. In recognition of his work to the organization was nominated an honorary commissioner for all states of the Union. Died on October 20, 1928 in Minneapolis, Minn.
