Szczepanski, Julian
Civic leader. Born in Roblik, Poland, January 6, 1869. Came to U.S. with his mother in 1873. Educated in St. Stanislaus Kostka parochial school, Chicago, Ill., and St. Mary's College, St. Mary's Ky. Since 1885 a printer. Elected director of Polish Roman Catholic Union at national convention in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1909. Reelected in 1911 in Syracure. Later elected president of Polish Alma Mater, a fraternal organization, in Chicago, Ill.
