Szczukowski, Alexander
Industrialist. Born in Lubowo, Poland in 1871. In 1887 came to Buffalo, N. Y. In 1890 established a clothing shop, employed 75 workers; active in social welfare, instrumental in building the Polish Home in Buffalo. Member of the Polish Businessmen and Industrialists Association, of Polish National Alliance and Polish Aid Society. Married in 1892 Antoinette Nochowicz; have six children. Founder of the Polish Clothing Association. Resides in Buffalo, N.Y.
