Born Oct. 6, 1915, Grodno, Poland; came to U.S. 1948; son of Witalis and Jadwiga (Skup); married Inka (Noskowska); child: Tomasz.

Education: Architecture Department, Warsaw Technical University (Poland), 1935-39; Master of Arts (M.A.) (in architecture), School of Architecture, 1952, Master of Science (M.S.) (in economy), School of Economics, 1974, University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

Career: planner, Disneyland, Anaheim (CA), 1954-55; designer, over 300 buildings including 26 churches in California and American Czestochowa in Doylestown (PA), 1956-72.

Author: retrospective exhibition (under patronage of U.S. Embassy in Poland), Dwanascie kosciolow w USA, Warsaw, 1991; exhibition of churches and liturgical art, Polish Museum of Arts, Chicago (IL), 1993; articles in: ABC, Prosto z mostu (Poland), Kronika (Germany), Kultura (France), Wiadomosci (United Kingdom)), Catholic Property Administration (United States).

Member of: past president, Committee of the Reconstruction of Hollywood, 1970-74; American Institute of Architects (AIA), Guild for Religious Architecture, Regional Planning Association of Southern California; Society of Film Art Directory.

Honors: Certificate of Recognition, City of Los Angeles, 1970; Americanism Medal, Daughters of American Revolution, 1971; Brother Albert Chmielowski Award (for outstanding achievement in architecture and sacral art), 1988.

Served with: Polish Home Army - Armia Krajowa (A.K.), Schools of Art Safeguard Section, 1939-44.
