Chemical engineer. Born in Poland, where he received his elementary and secondary education. Engaged in Poland in research laboratories as chemical engineer. Came to United States during World War II as a refugee. Discovered a process for manufacturing synthetic rubber through the use of alcohol derived from farm products. Resides in Philadelphia, Pa.
