U.S. Army Colonel, economist, university administrator

Born May 7, 1935 in Gdynia, Colonel in U.S. Army, economist, university administrator. Son of Stefan.

After finishing high school in New York he joined the merchant marine and sailed as an able seaman (sometimes as a machine operator). His military service took place during the Korean War in the American Air Force (1952-1954). He studied business and economics (1963-64) at Staten Island College, NY; (1964) at a New York university; and (1964-66) economics at an university in St. Louis. After studying (1974-77) administration of institutions of higher learning at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL, he received a doctorate. He received scholarships from the Kosciuszko Foundation and was a three time Fulbright grant recipient at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He worked as an administrator (1964-66) at an university in New York, and (1974-75) at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.

From 1974 is a professor of economics, administration, and aeronautics at Florida Memorial College in Miami. In 1989 was the director of the School of Economics and Aeronautics at Florida Memorial College in Miami. He received 12 million dollars from the Federal Aviation - (FAA) administration to create the school. He was the creator of an aeronautical and air traffic control program for the FAA. A diploma officer, captain, in the U.S. Air Force (in active duty to 1964, in active reserve to 1984). Called to duty in 1992 to serve in the South Carolina State Guard as a colonel on the general staff, as a reserve officer. He is the author of 25 scientific papers. Thanks to his initiative in 1993 medical equipment was given by the U.S. Army to the Polish Army. During 1994-99 he organized in Florida a campaign to have Poland join NATO. He is the recipient of many military medals.
