Dabrowski, Rev. Louis
Born in 1844 in Warsaw, Poland. Educated in Warsaw; persecuted by the Russian Government for his participation in the Polish insurrection against Russia in 1863 left for Rome, Italy, where he studied theology and was ordained to the priesthood. Missionary from 1871-1876 in Buffalo, N. Y. Later went to San Antonio, Texas, where he became pastor of St. Michael's Parish. In 1887 became pastor of St. Hedwig's Parish in St. Hedwig's, Texas; remained there until 1897.
