Debski, Alexander
Engineer. In 1906 came to U.S. and became the leader of the Polish socialists. From 1915-1919 publisher of the Polish daily paper "Telegram Codzienny" in New York, N. Y. In 1915 led the delegation of Polish socialists from U.S. with the banner for Pilsudski's Legion in Poland. Leading figure in organizing help and volunteers for Pilsudski's Legions. In 1919 left for Poland, where he was elected Senator to Parliament in 1930. Died March 7, 1936 in Warsaw, Poland.
