Deptula, Szymon Stanislaus, M.A.
Professor. Born in Poland; came to U.S. as a young boy. Graduate of Pittsburgh University with A.B. and M.A. degrees. In 1930 appointed professor of English Literature at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. At present instructor in English and Polish, and head of Polish department at The University of Wisconsin, The University Extension Division in Milwaukee, Wis., since 1934.
