Artist. For 27 years, staff artist of the Carnegie Institute of Embryology; appointed chairman of Johns Hopkins School of Medical Art in 1942. Recreated esophagus operation. Made thousands of drawings of various representations as the best artist in embryology and urology. Became director of the Johns Hopkins School of Art after Max Broedel.
