Public official. Councilman of the city of Garfield, N. J. Born in Passaic, N. J. in 1910. Received his elementary and secondary education in Passaic and then in Garfield. Attended Paterson Preparatory Academy. Since 1922 he is an active member of the Boy Scouts of America. Former scoutmaster of Boy Scout troop in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Garfield, N. J. and former member of Scout Troop Welfare Committee No. 2 in Passaic, N. J. He was a member of Wessington Athletic Association of Clifton, N. J. and played on the football team of that organization. He married Florentine Kobylarz and has one child. He is employed by Heyden Chemical Corp of Garfield, where he supervises some of the war contracts of that firm. In December, 1942 he was appointed Councilman of the city of Garfield.
