Domzalski, Michael
Pioneer and organizer. Born in Lubaw, Poland, October 7, 1860. Came to U.S. Jan. 20, 1880, settling first in Nanticoke, Pa. and a year later he went to Detroit, Mich., where he graduated from a local high school in 1886. Opened an insurance brokerage office and a private bank in 1887 which was located at 4729 St. Aubin Ave., Detroit. Mich. Founder of Polish Daily News "Dziennik Polski," published in Detroit, Mich. And founder of Polish Roman Catholic Union Ass'n. Married Mary Pieganowski in 1883; father of nine children -- six sons and three daughters. Died June 16, 1939.
