Lawyer. Born in Rudziany, Poland; graduated from a Teachers College with M.A. degree. In 1884 came to Notre Dame, Indiana, graduated from Notre Dame University, Law School; for some time teacher at St. Hedwig's School, South Bend, Ind. From 1889 to 1892 teacher at St. Stanislaus School, Buffalo, N. Y. and later of public school No. 31. In 1892 admitted to the Bar and opened his offices in Buffalo, N. Y. at 577 Fillmore Ave. From 1895 to 1898 assistant to county clerk; in 1889 elected supervisor and re-elected in 1901 and 1903. Member of Buffalo City Council from 1910 to 1914; elected chairman of the City Council in 1914. Republican. Died May 30, 1939.
