Drzewiecki, Rev. C. R.
Clergyman. Born Aug. 15, 1879 in Dziedzinek, Poland; son of John and Mary (Stargacka) Drzewiecki. Came to U.S. in 1881 and, with his parents, settled at Chicago, Ill. Graduated from St. Stanislaus Kostka parochial school. On Aug. 2, 1902 went to Rome, Italy, where he studied philosophy and theology and was ordained priest April 12, 1909. On Jan. 14, 1929 was appointed pastor of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Chicago, Ill.; later became Chaplain of St. Joseph's Home for the Aged at Chicago, Ill.
