Social worker. Director of Polish Roman Catholic Union of America. Born in Warsaw, Poland, June 24, 1883; daughter of Wladyslaw Haberski and Marja Tobota. Completed gymnasium (gimnazium) in Plock, Poland. Married Frank Duch, May 31, 1910. Has five children. Active during the recruiting of the Polish Army in the U.S. during World War I. Active worker for the American Red Cross and its member at the present time. Vice-chairlady of the Friends Circle of Polish Army in Canada. Vice-chairlady of District II Polish American Council. Director of Polish Roman Catholic Union of America since 1937. Re elected to that office for a third term, 1941-1945. P.R.C.U. vice-president for the state of Connecticut, 1931-1934. Organized numerous Polish societies and lodges for the P.R.C.U. In 1939 elected by the P.R.C.U. to make a trip to Poland as an official representative of that organization. Member of the Dept. of Public Welfare, New Britain, Conn. Clubs: Rosary Society, St. Rose of Lima Society, Womens Catholic Club, Ladies Auxiliary General Haller Post, Ladies Auxiliary Sakowicz Post American Legion.
