Dziewanowski, Vincent
Wisconsin pioneer. Born in 1812. Took part in the 1830 Polish insurrection against Russia. Deported from Austria in 1834. From Trieste came to New York, N. Y. In 1838 settled in Pulaski, Wis. The city was named Pulaski through his efforts. Left a diary of his travels that is in the possession of his son, Michael. Died in 1883.
