Fons, Louis A.
Industrialist, financier. Born Aug. 25, 1878, in Milwaukee, Wis. At 13 went to work for N. J. Wawrzyniakowski, a real estate and insurance agent. In 1901 became a partner of his former employer and manager. In 1910 the firm was incorporated under the name of Fons and Co.; since that time he has been president of the firm. Secretary of the Polish National Loan and Building Association with 2500 depositors and over $1,000,000 assets: secretary of the Berthelet Pipe and Supply Co., which he organized in 1916. Elected to the State Senate at a special election Jan. 2,1918 in Milwaukee, Wis.
