Garstka, Walter Urban
Professor. Born May 25, 1906, Warsaw, Poland. Received B.S. degree from Pennsylvania State College in 1929. Sage fellow, Yale University, 1929-30, and Charles Lathrope Park fellow, Univ. of California in 1933. Instructor of forestry at Pennsylvania State College, 1930-33; U.S. Forest Service, 1934 35; Soil technologist, U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Washington D. C., since 1935.
