Roman Catholic clergyman. Pastor of St. John Kanty Church, Buffalo, N. Y. Born in Poland, 1890. Attended Canisius College, Buffalo, N. Y. and Niagara University, Niagara Falls, N. Y. Studied theology at Rome, Italy. Ordained to holy priesthood October 7, 1916. First assignment as curate to St. Hyacinth's Church, Dunkirk, N. Y., later assigned to Our Lady of Rosary Church and then to Holy Cross Church, Salamanca, N. Y. He also served at Holy Trinity Church, Niagara Falls, N. Y. and at St. Bernard's Church. For some time he was administrator of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Perry, N. Y., and then was assigned as pastor of St. Hyacinth's Church, Lackawanna, N. Y. In 1938 he was appointed pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Buffalo, N. Y. and in September, 1941 was transferred to St. John Kanty Church, Buffalo, N. Y. as pastor. For his services to the Roman Catholic Church Pope Pius XII elevated him to the rank of Domestic Prelate in December, 1942. Since 1941 to present date, pastor of St. John Kanty Church.
