Education: James Monroe Elementary School, Tuley High School, Chicago Teachers College, De Paul University, with Ph.B. and M.A. degrees. Attended Northwestern University and the University of Chicago. Graduate of the Chicago Musical College with M.A. in Music degree. Taught in the Funston and Reilly elementary schools in Chicago. Taught at Lake View High School in Chicago (Director of Music). Taught at Wright Junior City College in Chicago (Director of Music and Fine Arts). At present principal of the Chopin Elementary School in Chicago. Head of the Department of Music Education at the Chicago Conservatory of Music. Previously taught music at the Gunn School of Music, Chicago, Ill, and at the Chicago Musical College. Was organist of St. Ladislaus Church, Chicago, Ill for four years. Awarded four gold medals for proficiency in piano and music composition. Member of the staff of lecturers for the Principals Review Class conducted by Dr. Charles Stone at De Paul University during the winter and spring of 1935-1936.
