Godowski, Leopold
Pianist. Born 1870 in Wilno, Poland. At the age of 9 made concert tours. Considered as one of the greatest technicians in piano history. Also a composer of note, and a friend of nearly all the important musicians of the world. Edited "The Progressive Series of Piano Lessons." A distinguished artist. Died Nov. 21, 1938 in New York City.
