Golf player. In 1933 won National Open Title in Glen View, Ill. National Amateur Champ, 1937. Defeated Ray Billows, at Alderwood Course, Portland, Oregon. First attracted attention when he defeated Bobby Jones in Febble [Pebble ?] Beach, Cal. Resides in Omaha, Neb.
