Gracek (Gratzek), Thomas
Physician. Born in 1888 in Warren, Marshall County, Minn. Graduate of Warren High School in 1906, University of Illinois in 1911 with M.D. degree. Practiced in Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Ill., from 1911 to 1913. Since 1914 practices in St. Paul, Minn. Commissioner of District No. 14, Polish National Alliance. During the World War, captain in U.S. Army, Medical Corps in France till 1919. Member of American Legion, member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Given an honorary diploma by American College of Surgeons. Member of the Polish National Alliance; director of Polish American Club in St. Paul, Minn., Polish Medical and Dental Association; director of the Polish Central Committee in St. Paul, Minn. In 1939 decorated by Poland with golden cross of merit. Married and father of four children. Residence: 1104 Orange St., St. Paul, Minn.
