Grocholski, Joseph S. W.
Lawyer. Born in Poland; came to Canada with his parents at the age of five months. Educated at Winnipeg. Took premedical course; three years of science; then attended Law School at University of Manitoba. Graduated in 1938, with Bachelor of Laws degree; called to the Manitoba Bar the same year. Represented Western Canada in 1934, at a Convention of Students of Polish descent at Warsaw, Poland. Married Miss Flis in 1939. First national chairman of Polish Youth Societies in Canada. Author and publisher of "Poles in Canada" since its inception in 1938.
