Grudzinski, Rev. Louis
Born in Poland in 1878 and ordained in 1903. Came to Chicago when seven months old. Attended SS. Cyril and Methodius Polish Seminary, Detroit, Mich. Theology studied at St. Francis Seminary, St. Francis, Wis. On February 18, 1909 appointed pastor of St. John the Divine parish, Chicago. Ill, and serves here to date. Vice-president of the Polish Council of Social Welfare. President of the Educational Department of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America. Member of the Commission for Catholic Affairs. Elected member of the Pontifical Academy in Rome, Italy, in 1928. Decorated by the Polish Government with "Polonia Restituta"
