Gryglaszewski, Francis
Civic leader. Born in 1852 in Lwow, Poland. Came to U.S. and took part in organizing the Polish immigrants. He spent all his money for that purpose. In 1883 at the fourth National Convention of the Polish National Alliance in Milwaukee, Wis., chosen Censor of this organization, and held this position until 1891. In recognition for his work the National Convention in Detroit, 1891, elected him unanimously "Honorary Member of P.N.A." In 1913 he became a commissioner of P.N.A. in the state of Minnesota, where he founded the town "Grygla." One of the founders of a weekly paper "Zgoda," an organ of P.N.A..
