Iciek, Rev. Stanislaus A.
Journalist, writer. Born in 1882 in Hilliard, Mich., where he received his elementary education. Secondary education at Polish Seminary, Detroit, Mich.; studied philosophy and theology at St. Paul's Seminary, St. Paul, Minn. From 1907 to 1918 pastor in Duluth, Minn. In 1918 joined the Polish Army in France and later in Poland. After his return to U.S., was engaged as editor of Polish weekly "Przewodnik Katolicki" (Catholic Leader), New Britain, Conn. Since 1925 pastor of St. Joseph's parish, Norwich, Conn. Author of following books: "Samochodem Przez Stany Zjednoczone," "Samochodem Przez Stany Poludniowe," "Swiatla i Cienie" and "Ks. Proborsc." Contributor to "Pittsburczanin," a Polish weekly in Pittsburgh, Pa. Residence: 120 Cliff Street, Norwich, Conn.
