Delphine T. (Zakrzewski) Kaminski
(1927 - 2008)

Kaminski, Delphine T. (nee Zakrzewski), of Wildwood, MO, fortified with the Armour of Faith and the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, entered into the Afterlife on Tues., May 6, 2008, 1:55 p.m. CST. Born in Chicago, IL on Feb. 1, 1927, she and her family relocated to St. Louis, MO in 1964. Mrs. Kaminski led a life of dedication, devotion and service to her family, church and community. She was the original editor of the Polish-American newspaper The Hejnal, a position she held for 15 years and a tireless advocate for the preservation of Polish culture.

Delphine is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Walter R. Kaminski; daughter Lynn (Larry) Vorholt; son Timothy (Joyce) Kaminski; son Jayme (Cindy) Kaminski; grandchildren: Tamara Henry, Andrew Dietrich, Ashia and Martin Kaminski, January Ward, Frank Signorelli and David Noyes; great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Henry, Allison Henry, Alexander Dietrich, Hailey Dietrich, Ashley Ward, Emilia Signorelli, Vincent Signorelli and Salvator Signorelli.

Services: The Stygar Family of Funeral Service is caring for Mrs. Kaminski's family from the STYGAR MID RIVERS Funeral Home, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., (St. Charles). Funeral Monday, May 12, 10 a.m. from St. Stanslaus Kostka Church, 1407 N. 20th Street. 'Meet at the Church.' Friends may visit family 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. prior to Mass. Memorials to the St. Stanislaus Kostka Restoration Fund preferred. Interment St. Charles Memorial Gardens. VISITATION at the funeral home Saturday, May 10, 3-7 p.m. and Sunday, 3-9 p.m.
