Kanar, Ladislaus
Lawyer. Born in 1900 in Poland. Engaged in the grocery business with his father; assistant chief inspector with the General Brass and Aluminum works and in Hamtramck Fire Department. Graduated in law. Elected assemblyman in 1931 from Hamtramck, Mis., and served in the lower House of Michigan in 1931-1932. In 1939 elected mayor of the city of Hamtramck, Mich. Resides in Hamtramck, Mich.
