Karabin, Andrew L.
Physician. Born in Pullmann, Ill., Nov. 21, 1900. Attended St. Salomea parochial school and graduated from Hyde Park High School. Studied at University of Illinois, Urbana, Ill. Completed Chicago Medical School, June, 1928, receiving from same M.D. degree. Served interneship at St. Margaret's Hospital, Hammond, Ind. Engaged in the general practice of medicine since January, 1930. Member of the medical and surgical staff of St. Margaret's Hospital, Hammond, Ind.; St. Francis Hospital, Blue Island, Ill. Member of Polish Medical and Dental Association of America and Chicago Medical Society. Since 1924 member of Polish National Alliance of U.S. of No. America. Former treasurer of Lodge 1457, P.N.A. Married Clara Hazinska, October, 1933. During 1934 he was a temporary high medical examiner for the P.N.A. during the absence of the late Dr. Stanislaus Wietrzynski, former High Medical Examiner of that organization.
