Received Ph.B. degree from University of Chicago, 1920. Later studied at Columbia University, New York, N. Y., from which he received M.A. degree in 1923, and in 1928 Harvard University granted him Ph.D. degree. Married Eugenie Marie Glebow, Feb. 10, 1928. National Research Fellow at Harvard University, 1927-29. Engaged in the Research Department of Technicolor, Inc., Boston, Mass., 1929-30. Instructor of Psychology at University of North Dakota, 1923-25. Assistant Professor of Psychology, Dartmouth College, 1930-36. Professor of Psychology, Dartmouth College, from 1936 to date. Member of: American Psychological Ass'n, The Optical Society of America, Fellow of American Ass'n for the Advancement of Science, Delegate to the Inter-Color Society.
