Kasparek, Adam
Journalist and teacher. Born in Chicago, Ill. Son of the late Dr. Jan Kasparek, dean and rector of the University of Krakow, Poland. Returned with parents to Poland and studied at the Jagiellonian University, Krakow; at the University of Vienna and then continued his studies at the Sorbornne in Paris, from where he received a degree of doctor of philosophy, and doctor of political sciences. After serving in the French Army during the first World War, returned to the U.S. Worked as a journalist on the "Polish Courier," in Chicago, Ill., and had contributed articles to "Nowy Swiat," New York Polish newspaper, and to the "Citizen," a Polish-American newspaper in Perth Amboy, N. J. Teacher of the Polish language in the evening sessions in the Perth Amboy High School, Perth Amboy, N. J. Died July 9, 1939.From: "Who's Who in Polish America" by Rev.
