Public official. Born Jan. 6. 1883 in Buffalo. N. Y. Received first education at St. Stanislaus School, Buffalo, N. Y. At the age of 13 became grocery clerk for Mr. Stanislaus Lipowicz, and at the age of 20 was conducting a grocery business for his parents. At the age of 34 bank teller for the Liberty Bank. After 20 years with the bank, took leave of absence to become city treasurer of Buffalo in 1937. After the expiration of a four-year term, he was reappointed as City Treasurer in 1941 for another 4 years. In 1907 married Agnes Wojtkowska. Have three children. Member of St. Luke's Church. Residence: 335 Goodyear Ave., Buffalo, N. Y.
