Civic leader, Born Jan. 4, 1868, near Grudziadz, Poland. Came to U.S. as a child. In 1885 married to Dr. Boleslaus Klarkowski. Member of parochial choir; P.R.C.U.; Alma Mater; Polish Women's Alliance; Foresters. Delegate to all National Conventions of Polish Women's Alliance of America. Decorated with a gold medal by the Polish Women's Alliance of America. In 1939 decorated by Polish Government with Golden Cross of Merit. In 1917 organized Polish Women's Protective Ass'n.
